Battling Cancer The Voice Australia

SongDivision vocalist, Natasha Stuart, is no stranger to the big stage. She’s belted out notes with some of the biggest names in the business, including Richard Clapton, Jimmy Barnes, Boy George, Michael Bolton, Lionel Richie, Guy Sebastian, and we’re just getting started. But the big stage took on a whole new meaning last year when Natasha was diagnosed with breast cancer.

After undergoing weeks of grueling chemotherapy and a lumpectomy, Natasha battled back the best way she knew how — through music. In a blind audition for The Voice Australia, Tash more than impressed all four mentors to earn her way into the competition before singing her way to a finalist position on Delta Goodrem’s team. While her incredible run on The Voice came to an end last week, Tash made an impression on audiences worldwide and her star is certainly rising given her sensational talent.

Natasha is one of SongDivision’s premier singers, having worked on major gigs including delivery of a Custom Song to none other than Sir Richard Branson and 1,200 Virgin team members. She is a natural performer with a powerful voice and a wonderful presence that commands attention. Her attitude and positivity through this period in her life has been nothing short of inspiring.

Natasha recently sat down with New Idea to share her story and her triumphant return to the stage. Way to keep battling Tash! You’re an inspiration to us all.
