Global hospitality provider, IHG, places their people at the heart of their business. So, when planning their Global Procurement, Finance & Strategy Conference in Amsterdam, they placed team building at the top of their list. Specifically, IHG sought a fun and energetic way to help its team of over 100 people better understand and articulate their collective purpose.
SongDivision proposed our Team Anthem whereby conference attendees work with our renowned musicians to write and perform their own original song to express their purpose. No musical experience is required as our musicians guide you every step of the way. Throughout the session our team worked with IHG to identify perception of traditional procurement, finance and strategy roles, as well as how the team would like to lead the industry moving forward. Elements from this discussion were collectively distilled into lyrics and music before the group came together to sing their newly created song!
Attendees reveled in the ability to use music to express what to this point they had only had the opportunity to express through traditional meetings and events. Singing along with our musicians gave them a real sense of pride in each other and the company, and left them feeling even more excited and optimistic about the future of IHG!
