Swiss Convention & Incentive Bureau + SongDivision
Swiss tourism rocks with SongDivision! Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau (SCIB) sought a way to tie-in a rock & roll theme to their annual networking event at the Hard Rock Café in Central London. Each year, the aim of the event is to create an informal networking platform for UK event professionals and SCIB’s Swiss partners. This year’s event was all about showcasing Switzerland’s fun and entertaining side, in addition to its traditionally recognized high-quality service, accessibility, infrastructure, and beautiful landscapes. SongDivision was called upon to deliver a Song Slam competition to build relationships and reinforce the theme.
The topic of “Rock with the Swiss” created the perfect atmosphere for SongDivision to do what we do best. Throughout the evening, facilitator and SongDivision’s GM for UK & Europe, Sam McNeill, kept the program engaging and the energy high. Our world-class musicians assisted three teams to develop and perform an original song each. These songs expertly touched on each team’s respective destination or venue, while also reinforcing the event theme and forming new relationships among those in attendance. Songwriting was followed by an unforgettable live performance from our top European musicians. By evenings end, buyers and partners alike were dancing and carrying on as if they had known each other for years.
Over 50 buyers attended the highly successful event, and SCIB was very pleased with the result.
