“Oh, here is London, home of the brash, outrageous, and free,” Morrissey sings in his song, “Hairdresser on Fire.”
It’s an apt description for a city the rest of the world has turned to throughout the centuries for what’s hip in music, film, and fashion. It’s no wonder that around 30 million people visit London each year. Many of those people come for meetings and events and the great opportunities for in-person team building.
For example, groups can take advantage of team building activities in the city’s iconic spaces, like the Tower of London, the Shard, Hampton Court Palace, or the London Eye. Or maybe participate in some team bonding at many of the city’s museums, like the Tate Modern, the British Museum, or the Victoria and Albert Museum.
The West End theatre district also offers some unique in-person events. Led by theatre professionals, teams can participate in improv and interactive drama workshops to boost their creativity, collaboration, and communication skills.
London also has several green spaces for team building activities. Visit Hyde Park, Hampstead Heath, or Regent’s Park for sports challenges and scavenger hunts. Or enjoy some boating events on the River Thames. A dynamic and ever-evolving city, London truly has something for everyone.
