Since 1975, TD Ameritrade has been living its company purpose of transforming lives and investing for the better. To commemorate this impressive legacy, TD Ameritrade hosted the ‘Invested forever’ Virtual Legacy Celebration for thousands of its employees.
To kick off the event with a bang, hype up attendees and pay proper homage to over 40 years of TD Ameritrade accomplishments, the company called on SongDivision to write and record a Custom Song. Requirements for the tune were that it needed to highlight key moments in company history, inspire pride among employees, and have a musical vibe evocative of the stirring energy from Broadway’s Hamilton.
One of SongDivision’s renowned songwriters, Benji Harris (toured with Cassadee Pope, Brooks & Dunn), took on the challenge and crafted a hard-hitting, hype-infusing, mind-blowing rock anthem fitting of TD Ameritrade’s 40 years of success and then some! SongDivision’s musical prowess was then fused with dynamic animation and visual content from Proscenium, a NYC-based creative production agency. The result — attendees were ecstatic, raving about the song and filling the event’s chat box with positive comments and emojis. For TD Ameritrade, the Custom Song was a fitting start to a high-energy celebration and a memorable part of their legacy for years to come.
