Hamilton Island
SongDivision was asked to be the exclusive entertainment providers at the Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) National Conference on Hamilton Island. Held annually for over 400 meetings and events organisers and suppliers, MEA was looking for a unique, interactive, and highly entertaining music program that fit within the themes and key messages of ‘Right Here, Right Now’.
SongDivision proposed and delivered an all-encompassing program, spread across the 3-day conference beginning with Sam McNeill, our GM for the UK & Europe, hosting the MEA First Timers Session and co-facilitating the Young Leaders (YMEA) Forum. That evening, our world-class musicians put on a high-energy show at Club MEA that kicked the opening day into overdrive.
On Day 2, Sam teamed up with industry leader Rob Vass to present an engaging plenary called ‘Creating Unique Moments’ featuring Lionel Cole (The Voice, Mariah Carey, John Legend). In this musically interactive interview, Sam, Rob and Lionel, backed by our world-class SongDivision band, discussed music, creativity and the importance of being in the moment, resulting in a hugely insightful, emotional, and unforgettable experience.
It wouldn’t be a successful MEA Conference without an amazing closing night Gala Awards Dinner, and SongDivision did not disappoint. Sam took on MC duties for the 4th year in a row, and our talented 8-piece House Band, provided the perfect backing music for award winners and presenters. Feature performances came from Lionel Cole, Nat Conway, and our GM of Asia, Christo Alexander, making for an unforgettable evening and capping off a truly memorable conference.
