Novo Nordisk + SongDivision


To celebrate achieving a major revenue target, pharmaceutical giant Novo Nordisk flew its entire global team of 2,700 employees to Miami for a 4-day cruise. Before they sailed off into the Caribbean, they held their first ever ‘All-Hands’ meeting to review keys to achieving this significant milestone, and to establish a future goal to aspire towards. Novo Nordisk called upon SongDivision to generate enthusiasm and help unify everyone around this new goal. The bigger challenge was to accomplish all of this in just 25 minutes!

Held at the legendary Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami, our world-class musicians, led by our very own Angus Clark (Trans Siberian Orchestra), took to the stage to deliver our interactive Team Anthem, engaging the audience through collaborative songwriting. In minutes, the SongDivision band, members of which have worked with Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, and The Bee Gees, had the full participation of the entire theater and quickly established the mood, melody, and style of the music. Lyrics then poured from attendees as the true spirit of the brand and pride for its success came to life. Novo Nordisk employees joined our musicians on stage for a triumphant performance of their newly written song, bringing collective excitement to all in attendance.

Novo Nordisk was extremely proud of the event, and thrilled with SongDivision’s ability to unite their entire workforce in just 25 minutes. This shared, creative experience allowed the company to both celebrate a major achievement and set their team up for future success.
